Global Equip Network did not begin with a strategic plan or a desire to build an organization.
It began with a burden.
A burden for pastors faithfully serving God’s people with little access to biblical training, practical ministry resources, or trusted encouragement.
What started as one step of obedience has grown into a journey of walking alongside church leaders across Africa—strengthening those who faithfully strengthen the Church.
Our History
Over the years, Global Equip Network has expanded its reach across Africa by training and equipping pastors and leaders, strengthening churches and fostering spiritual maturity in diverse communities.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Global Equip Network was born from years of serving alongside pastors, church leaders, and ministry families across Africa.
As we traveled from villages to cities, one pattern became impossible to ignore.
Faithful leaders were carrying extraordinary responsibility with very little support.
They were preaching the Gospel, counseling families, discipling young believers, planting churches, and caring for communities—often without formal training, ministry resources, or someone to encourage them.
Those conversations changed us.
We realized that strengthening the Church begins by strengthening the people God has called to lead it.
That conviction became the foundation of Global Equip Network.
Since then, every training, every partnership, every relationship, and every mile traveled has been guided by one purpose:
To strengthen faithful leaders so healthy churches can impact communities and help transform nations beyond their borders.
We have never believed the answer was to replace local leaders. The answer has always been to strengthen the leaders God has already placed within their communities.

Our Programs
A Journey Still Being Written
In 2017, Ronnie Matsons sensed God calling him to invest intentionally in pastors and church leaders across Africa.
Leaving behind familiarity, he stepped forward in faith with one simple conviction:
If local leaders are strengthened, the Church will become stronger.
What began with small gatherings, Bible studies, and leadership conversations soon grew into opportunities to serve pastors across multiple nations.
There were no large budgets or elaborate plans.
Only a willingness to say “yes” to wherever God opened the next door.
Each training revealed something new.
Pastors did not simply need more information.
They needed someone willing to listen.
They needed practical biblical training.
They needed relationships that would continue after the conference ended.
Those lessons continue shaping Global Equip Network today.
By God’s grace, the ministry has now served thousands of pastors, church leaders, children’s workers, and ministry families throughout Africa.
Yet we believe we are only beginning.
The vision remains unchanged:
To see healthy leaders strengthening healthy churches, impacting communities, and carrying the hope of Christ far beyond their own borders.
The Story Continues
The greatest chapters of Global Equip Network have not yet been written.
There are still pastors waiting for encouragement.
Churches longing for sound biblical training.
Communities praying for faithful leadership.
And nations that will be transformed as healthy leaders faithfully disciple others.
Every prayer.
Every partnership.
Every act of generosity helps write the next chapter.
